Brightly Confident at Ferryland Lighthouse | Original Acrylic Painting
This painting was created en plein air or on location at Ferryland Lighthouse.
Ferryland Lighthouse is accessed only by hiking - I packed my paints and a picnic lunch spend the morning at the edge of the coast. The sunshine was bright and beautiful - shining bright white against the lighthouse keeper’s house. It was one of my favourite painting locations in Newfoundland!
This acrylic painting was created on handcrafted paper, using saltwater from the Atlantic Ocean to mix the colours. The painting measures approximately 5x7 inches and features deckled edges.
