Finding Beginnings at Clarke's Beach | Original Acrylic Painting

CA$150.00
Only 1 available

This painting was created en plein air or on location at Clarke’s Beach nearby the artist residency.

It was painted the evening after Hurricane Larry passed over Newfoundland. The previous evening, the hurricane winds had peaked at 160 km/hour. The winds were still fierce, with the ocean tossing spray high into the air and creating huge white caps. The sky was a beautiful pink swath of colour, eye-catching and absolutely gorgeous.

This acrylic painting was created on handcrafted paper, using saltwater from the Atlantic Ocean to mix the colours. The painting measures approximately 5x7 inches and features deckled edges.
