Happily Wild at Mad Rocks | Original Acrylic Painting

CA$150.00
Only 1 available

This painting was created en plein air or on location at Mad Rocks.

I took many painting trips to Mad Rocks, which was located on the next peninsula over from the artist residency. This day, the weather turned sharply and the winds picked up significantly. No one else was outside walking the coastline, I was absolutely alone on the shore. I watched as the waters rose and the waves left sprays high against the granite cliffs. It was one of the first moments that I truly felt how powerful the sea could become.

This acrylic painting was created on handcrafted paper, using saltwater from the Atlantic Ocean to mix the colours. The painting measures approximately 5x7 inches and features deckled edges.
