Protecting Dreams at Blow Me Down | Original Acrylic Painting

CA$150.00
Only 1 available

This painting was created en plein air or on location at Blow Me Down.

The village of Blow Me Down clings to the edge of the coastline, with all the homes looking out to the sea. The wind slices through the town often, limiting most of the trees to small shrubs. This painting was created from a road side pullout, on the way into the village. It was of course windy, but the view was perfect with how the land formations framed the small houses. A storm system was moving in quickly, leading to frenzied clouds.

This acrylic painting was created on handcrafted paper, using saltwater from the Atlantic Ocean to mix the colours. The painting measures approximately 5x7 inches and features deckled edges.
