The Wild Orca Series is a collection of fine art watercolour paintings that embody the Pacific Northwest. This series is filled with all the moody greys, blues, and greens of the Salish Sea. Each one features a Southern Resident, Northern Resident, or Transient orca.

Rush and Lagoon are transient orcas from two separate pods. These two orcas love to meet up in the Salish Sea, and were photographed swimming side by side, almost touching. In this painting, there’s a strong diagonal movement of the dorsal fins, that create an eye-catching “V”. Across the back of the orca, you can see the distinctive saddle patch markings.

“T101A Rush & T101B Lagoon” is a 12x12 inch original watercolour painting on fine Arches paper.
